Learning and Serving

It is claimed that experience is the best teacher

Twice in the summer I have journeyed to the Dominica Republic to serve with a great organization – STCH

STCH BEGAN SERVING IN THE 1940’s and has grown to be recognized for their support to so many in need. Over the years they have branched out to start missions in other countries. As much as possible I visit the DR and work with the STCH staffs building, renovating, and yes most important delivering food to families in need – with the most touching activity to me, visiting and teachings orphans. Learn more by visiting STCH’s website –

Below are random photos of the orphanages,, beautiful children, and American volunteers working. Please take a look and see the bright smiles, the wonderful attitude as they have few conveniences. Being children, they love sports which is how we get an opportunity to engage with children of many backgrounds.

Would you like to make a difference!

Please contact me for more information or for more photos and videos. The hardest aspect of serving is that you connect with many good people, and then sadly your time to return home comes quickly.
