God calls you - What would you do?
Ask questions.......such as.........
Nothing! - there is no God! ............. are you SURE?
When I die, not if I die ........... what happens?
Fearing death - many hope Heaven is not a fairy tale - the thought of lying in a box rotting - eaten by worms -- gross - No hope -- God - can He be real! Is the answer, is my hope - in God?
Bad life experiences, parents forcing church on children: living in harsh conditions - parents and others living as hypocrites --- no hope!
Rumors of a mysterious relationship with God - not a building called church! What does that mean, how does it work? Can I have it?
What is Heaven like?
Death, 100 out of 100 will die - fearing death........they ask when will I die?
This Heaven place if real, how long do I live in heaven? What do I -- do there?
Tragedy ....... why do good people die - why do the very young die?
If God is good, then why is there.... so much suffering......why is there so much hate!
Jesus -- why so important - living the perfect life --yet brutally killed on a cross - 3 days later resurrected as he claimed - what does that mean to me!

Yes I am an American, so my views are slanted as we are the only country founded to be governed by the people for the people--using our God given rights to seek happiness!
Reflect on the unique perspective of being an American, a country founded on principles of governance by and for the people, guided by the pursuit of happiness. Consider how these ideals resonate universally, regardless of nationality. This site and accompanying book aim to foster open dialogue and critical thinking, recognizing that no single individual possesses all the answers. While rooted in Judeo-Christian values, the focus is on sharing rather than persuasion or conflict. America's historical role as a beacon of innovation and opportunity underscores the importance of freedom of choice—a principle echoed in religious teachings. The goal here is to share insights while respecting individual autonomy to form their own opinions.
“You can't go back and change the beginning, but
you can start where you are and change the ending” (some credit quote to C.S. Lewis) - like many of us, our lives can seem to be not accomplishments but good intentions --- America - Americans, have been an amazing melting pot of many cultures, many different backgrounds, united based on freedom to pursue happiness - the shining light to the World signified a nation of people, adapting and thriving - But now uneasiness spreads over the world, and American - backsliding, as some say shedding the values of Americans that drove a melting pot of people to excel as a nation --- Is it too late - is America lost--- surveys indicate people are not happy nor feeling good about the future - compared to past times when life was less sophisticated; Why - could it be the destruction of the family unit, or is it the loss of consequences and shame---- today some see it as right now is wrong and wrong is now right - key is what defines happiness - how do you find it and how do you maintain it? The answer is not complicated!
This Lewis quote resonates with me deeply and serves as a guiding principle in my life—emphasizing the importance of moving forward rather than dwelling on the past. Is the trend to see Progress defined as all are equal, all are entitled – that experience and history mean nothing – that the previous years of exceptionalism and merit based growth — a innovation driven marketplace based on the wisdom gained from experiences is unfair. Today we have people wanting to tell all what is fair and who decides. Facts don’t lie, as a nation, America’s development has been shaped by this principle – which is – established by the Founders rooted in the belief in a guiding force and a shared set of values. Our history reflects a journey of learning from mistakes and striving to uphold these values. However, to sustain our nation’s essence, going back to those genius men who assembled the Constitution and the nation – it was not easy – there were so many different opinions as to how to move forward. Remember America is the only nation built on the right to seek your own happiness. Over this short time many can see that abandoning American’s founding values and principles is not working. Therefore, it is critical we maintain this connection – proof is that America has in a short 200+ years, been the shining light of development in the world – so ask yourself, if that is a key element, why would America trend away from what worked so well? Go back in time and read and discover even though many of the Founders were not strongly religious, they feared God. For sure they knew based on what they had witnessed that God had a hand on America’s success. Read the Federalist papers or the Founders personal letters and discover that they all prayed together (at one point stuck seeking a solution, they all took a break and went to a church to seek divine intervention. Facts are Facts — I state for those who want to contest — that records make it clear the Founders stated it and believed it — that without God’s influence and the American people recognizing God, the nation, America would fail! They stated in simple terms — law and order were a must; that an educated society could maintain itself. No matter your feelings about religion, they proved by the success of America it works, therefore, should we as a wise populous emphasis and not deny our link, our connection to our Judeo-Christian heritage – the principles upon which America was founded and thrived. As stated by those who were inspired to create this unique nation – our ability to preserve these values will determine the course of our nation. The future looks chaotic as we drift from what worked. Long ago I was a Carter supporter; he won, then I saw gas lines, yes lines on even and odd days we pushed our cars into the station because we did not know if they would continue to have fuel. People began complain and demonstrate – ready to cause cause havoc as our military abilities had declined since Vietnam. Here is a fact, my first house mortgage rate was over 12%. The result, me and others soon learned idealism is good, but must be balanced with realism. Today one need only watch the news or watch socially moving actions to see that America is becoming fragmented, losing sight of its role – our desire and our role – America – a safe place to use our God given right to seek happiness — is in jeopardy.
